For Women

Taol1 min to read

It just crossed my mind that a lot of us probably use disposable products when it comes to being on a period or something, and in the past I came across the mention that it is possible to purchase reuseable pads (not quite sure the word).

Now honestly I don't know how this was handled before the disposable things.

Those reuseable things... you just wash and dry them.

What it is with those disposable ones is that some contain odors to make you smell 'less' and are not always manifactured in the best way, which can cause problems.

If anyone has heard of this, or uses these (I mean the re use able), I wonder, how many would you need of those? Can you make them yourself?

Oh warning for the sink though. If you have a black plug to stop it from emptying, oxi stain removers aren't great for those! (Mine is kind of old and it kept giving off black so my whole fingers were black when I pulled it out x.x )

I'll be looking for a small bucket that I can use instead.

(Also not sure if a yeast infection is even a legit thing to have down there)

Addition to the topic.. I've wanted to ask (anyone may comment) about spotting. If you could tell more about it, what exactly causes it, and if there is something that has to do with hormones, then which hormone causes what exactly?

For those who don't know what spotting is.. spotting is irregular bleeding in between the period.

Thanks in advance.

Spotting can be caused by:

-excess heat,
-spleen qi deficiency failing to hold blood in the vessels.

The first will manifest with strong heart signs, red complexion, thirst and constipation and cessation whilst the latter would show lassitude, shortness of breath, poor appetite and loose stools.

A complex pattern of mixed excess and deficiency is very likely also.
