I have added a few more questions to the FAQ - here is the new whole.

Again, any criticism is very much welcome. As well as any FAQs and answers that you can think up/feel need to be addressed. I do not want to be giving erroneous answers.

*   If you are a new person who has just joined the group, welcome! The best place to get started on your spiritual journey is the Joy of Satan website. There is a welcome page that will help you start on your path. Also, the Exposing Christianity page is great to open your eyes about the reality of the judeo-xian faith/s. It will be much easier if you start to read the Joy of Satan website before you start asking “how to” questions, as many answers can be found there.

  *   Q: “Hi, I am in the UK/CA/South Africa, and I would like to meet like-minded people. Here is my personal info (usually an email address, but sometimes phone number).”   A: This group is for asking questions, sharing information, art or writing/poetry posts. However, it is not a meet-up group. Please do not give out your personal information. It is not safe. First, most of us are probably strangers to you. Second, there are infiltrators who would happily use your personal information to do bad things to you. Best to be safety-minded.   *   Q: “How do I sell my soul?”   A: Satan does not buy souls. Ever. He does not want slaves; he teaches liberation, self-growth and personal responsibility. However, if you feel called to honor Satan as Father, you can go to the Joy of Satan website and learn how to dedicate on the Dedication page!   *   Q: “I want to be famous/rich/popular. How do I make a pact with a demon?” or, “I need money; how can I get the demons/Satan to help me out?   A: Satan is not a banker or lender; he does not send free cash, grant wishes or make people famous. Demons/gods do not do pacts; at most, they will work with you as a mentor, but that depends on their choice. Spiritual Satanism isn’t going to be a way to get an easy fix for your problems; it teaches you how to become a stronger person so that you can provide your own fixes to your life.   *   Q: “I am so miserable and desperate, I want to kill myself! (details usually following)”   A: First of all, killing yourself will not solve your problems; it will only end your life. When/if you are reborn, you are only going to have to deal with similar issues until you learn how to deal with them. Secondly, think of how long & hard it was to find Satan in the first place, in a world where he is constantly slandered, misrepresented and hated. What are your chances of coming to him again, let alone coming to this group of like-hearted/minded people? If you need help, as k for help. That said, if you are coming here for comfort or people to worry about you…you are not the only one here who has personal problems, and no one likes a drama queen/king. You can count on often blunt advice.   *   Q: Dedication ritual questions, such as “I didn’t feel anything,” “I didn’t get much blood,” “I had to use white candles instead of black” and “Did my dedication count?   A: Don’t worry about the trappings of the ritual. If you got any blood, you are okay. If you have to substitute items, it’s all right. You may not feel any change at first; it might even take a while to feel any changes. What matters most is your intention; your mindset. Did you go into your dedication with honest feeling? Did you mean it? Then, unless you felt something actively negative when you did the ritual, you’re fine! And, welcome!   *   Q: “I live in a family of jews/christians/muslims/atheists/hindus/buddhists, and they would freak out/throw me out/put me away if I practice my faith. What do I do?”   A: This is what the astral temple is for; it is a way of doing your workings in your mind. No one can see into your mind or spy on you (if someone tells you s/h/e can, they are most likely lying and trying to scare you into confessing); there, you are free to do visualizations, dedicate, and so on. If anyone asks you what you are doing, feel free to tell them you’re daydreaming, working on an essay for school, praying; whatever will get them to lay off.   *   Q: “I want to have relationships with a succubus/incubus; how do I do it?” or “How do I get a demon lover?” or “I cannot relate to humans; how do I get a demon lover?”   A: First of all, remember that demons are people, with feelings, thoughts and lives of their own. You don’t go up to random people and ask them for a booty call or relationship, do you? Secondly, if you think a relationship with humans are difficult, think about the difficulties of loving a person who is physically impossible to reach.   *   Q: “Is this group/Joy of Satan in any way related to, or affiliated with, the Illuminati?”   A: No. As explained, the Illuminati is a judeoxian creation meant, as all their groups and teachings, to keep knowledge of themselves and out of the hands of Gentiles. It may use Egyptian culture, but it does not truly honor it.   *   Q: “Is this group for white people only?” “I am Asian/Black/Mexican/Native American/racially mixed; am I welcome here?”   A: No, it is not a whites-only group. Yes, you are welcome! The only way someone is not welcome is if they are of the judeo/christo/muslim faith, or are Jewish; this is a group for Gentiles only. If this sounds bad, just think of all of the groups that are Jewish-only, or for left-handers, heterosexuals &c only; to each our own.   *   Q: “I am new here, and I need to ask some questions. But only a high priest or priestess can help me.” and especially “Right away.”   A: Do you know how busy our high priests and priestesses are? They have over-ful plates, as well as lives of their own, and cannot be expected to drop everything for us. Planning workings, working on the site, spiritual meditations, making new rituals, research, writing sermons, making videos… I am not saying that they will *never* answer, because they do, but please give some consideration to them.   *   Some suggestions for good etiquette:   *** No piggybacking unrelated questions to others’ posts; it is really rude. If you have a question, please start a new thread.***   * Unless you know someone personally, or have been invited to so do, do not send emails to people individually. It’s kind of creepy, for some of us, to get unsolicited email from strangers.   * Do NOT feed the trolls. If it’s clear someone is just spouting stuff to get attention, or to create drama, or to upset you personally, do not let them have their fun. Ignore them. Save yourself from the stress. Eventually they will slouch off in disappointment.   * If you are here to be a troll, just leave. We are not interested in you, your drama, your opinions &c. You need to get a life. If you are an infiltrator, you are a jerk, unwanted, and a pain in the…

For all new people, I posted this FAQ on Feb...hope it's still useful. And, as always, if there are ways it can be improved, please tell me how& I will happily do so.
