Hey guys ! I was walking through the pet store .. And i came across a big wall of betta fish. Basicly all were not moving around and very lifeless. But there were one that was so full of life and moved around so much, so i just decided to save it from the fate of the other bettas ! My question being , can my new betta be a familiar? A magic companion? Also what exactly are familiars and how do these relationships work ? Thanks (: hail satan !!

Just a note, if a fish is in a tank with many other fish at a pet store, keep an eye on it to make sure it's not sick (quarantine fish if you're going to introduce them to a community aquarium). They should be fine, it's just a precaution

Yes i agree ! But my beta cant even have a fishy friend because its a chinese fighting fish lol. But i can get a bottom feeder for the tank. And thanks guys for the link. But thi link doesnt awnser my question i dont think... Can a fish be a familier?
