If you're a man or a woman is it possible to have one of your guardian demons be of the opposite sex?

Yes of course. Years ago one of our HPs even stated that most times our GD is of the opposite sex.And, others correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you have more than 1 GD. You can freely communicate and build a rapport with many Demons, but only one is assigned as your Guardian.

Patrons/Guardians, Sorath and Andras. There are many Brethren who have
more than one Guardian. Why this is so, I do not know, I only know
that it is so. I adore both of my beloved, brilliant, beautiful Patron
Daemons! So wise and fierce!

I recall Pythia saying "it's very likely for your guardian demon to be from the opposite sex" but i'm not 100% sure.

Mine is from the same sex.

Hi. I'm not sure if my other post will go through before this one, but I'll repost  because I misspoke earlier...
Yes of course, as one of our HPs wrote a few years back, most of the time our GD will be of the sex we are most (I use most to include bi-sexual members) attracted to. I posted earlier that our GDs are usually of the opposite sex, but that's obviously not true of gay and lesbian  members.
Also, I'm pretty sure you only have one Guardian Demon. You may feel a rapport towards many of our Gods/Goddesses, but only one is assigned to you as Guardian.

% paganini66688@...   I tend to agree with Allison about the number of Guardian Demons a person can have.  You’re not assigned an individual “case worker”.  Many eyes are watching over you.  I still don’t know “all” the Human and Demon Guardians I have.  I’m not going to get into the details for security reasons, but yes, definitely completely normal to have more than one.    And when you’ve successfully pissed off the enemy enough that they send some serious insect pedophiles your way to try to seriously fuck you up; a whole bunch of guardians and helpers will show up at your doorstep.  You may not be aware of this happening yet, but it does.   It might be that your Guardian Demon is in tight communication with all of your other Guardians, and your current Guardian is simply handling communications for everybody so that it’s easier “for you” to communicate.  There could be lots of things going on there.  I’d be willing to bet serious money that your support structure is much much bigger.   Don’t worry about anybody being right or wrong in regard to this.  You will definitely find out for absolute certain, either way on your own, eventually.  And it will be really good news.

It's just a theory of mine, but I think there are several possible reasons for one to have multiple guardian demons:
-The person might need extraordinarily much protection due to his/her position
-The person might have had deep friend/relationships with his/her guardian(s)  in past lives
-Multiple guardians are required for the person to stay on the right path (through signs etc. ;could be counted to the first reason) 
This stuff is obviously only speculation (I'm experimenting with the effects of my somewhat risen kundalini serpent - I feel like a little kid again, lol), so don't take anything here for fact.

I haven't read the rest of the posts, but Allison, I totally resonate with you as these two Gods are the two who are closest to MY heart as well, whom I love and feel so close to. I don't want to presume that they are my Guardians....I don't know for sure. Though, I love the two of them so much, I talk to the both of them and feel so close to them! Andras and Sorath in my mind are both my best Friends and my Guardians. I painted Portraits of both of them and they hang on my wall over my Altar with Satan's Portrait.

*Kudos to Reverend Mageson and Jake for figuring this one out. The sex of your Guardian is usually dependant on your own sexuality. Meaning, the straight man has a female Guardian, the homosexual man has a male Guardian. Even the most evenly split of bisexuals have a preference. If you’re a bisexual woman who likes other women just a little bit more than men, chances are you’ll have a female Guardian. I believe this pattern has to do with what you’re most comfortable with.

To continue this semantic argument...getting help, protection and advice from more then one Demon/Demoness, and feeling a kinship towards them does not make them all your GD, in my opinion.

I agree that other Gods can help you, and you can have close relations with many more than one God, but I still think you only have one GD.  Under your logic system, and that of the others here who advocate having more then one GD, what's to stop me from saying I have 50 GDs. See what I mean?
Anyways, as I said, this is just arguing semantics. I just wanted to point a few things out.Let's not start a war over this, LOL. We don't always have to agree with each other.

Allison, I don't know if you meant me or someone else, but I don't see where I would have written something like this. Anyways, I can assure you that the gods would NEVER hurt you. If a GD would ever leave you, then this would only happen if you don't need him/her anymore. And with this I also mean emotionally. So as long as you don't want them to leave, I am sure that they wont leave you. So cheer up.

My guardians are Samigina and Crocell. Samigina used to be more active with me when I was new. Crocell came later. She was the one who returned me to the path of Zevism. To quote Her words: "you have no idea what we have pulled you out of". Yes, I messed up badly. Drugs, to make story short. Turns out I was in greater danger than I was aware of.
By the end of November, I've celebrated Her days. She was so thankful. Gave me so much energy in return.
