I've finally performed the initiation ritual and dedicated my soul to Satan, and his Demons. But when i performed the ritual i used a very deep purple colored candle (almost black), and when i went to sign my name in blood i could only get enough blood to spell out the first letter in my name. What I wanted to know was, is the ritual sill valid??

Yes...it's one's sincerity that counts. It doesn't have to be exactly
perfect. Besides, few rituals go exactly according to plan anyway. So
