Composite Charts, orbs and various questions

Paul Pseudonym1 min to read

I am currently doing a composite chart with a friend of mine and myself. I am using a 4 degree orb. What degree or orbs do you all use when doing this?

Also. I have found that we have Sun Opp Venus and I can't find much information about this. Has anyone seen this before and what did you get from it?

You cannot use the orb of 4 to EVERY aspect, because conjunctions, squares and oppositions are the major aspects; an orb 8-9 is acceptable.

Trines can be given 7 orbs, sextiles - 5.

As for some secondary aspects like semi-sextile and quincunx an orb of 3 is maximum.

Aspects of tertiary significance (semi-square and sesquisquare with quintile and biquintile) should have an orb of 2.

Finally, there are septiles (51 degrees and 42'), biseptiles and triseptiles with nonagons/noviles (40 degrees), binoviles, trinoviles and quadviles - all of them with an orb of 1.

These are my ideas, not taken out of the blue though ;)
