Chakra Work

Is it really necessary to open all the chakras every time before taking in energy to the chakras? Because I always take in energy into them without opening them and I feel the energy anyways. Openning them every single time to do energy work is a little bit annoying. Thanks.

I think you may be miss-interpriting what is ment to be doing. Once you have 'opened' your chakras, they will remain open.. this is achieved by doing the chakra opening meditations (http://www.666blacksun.com/OpeningChakras.html).
If you want to do energy work with them, you would 'empower' (not sure if thats the best word to use, cant think of anything else atm ) them by spinning them and filling them with energy.
