I remember someone said that they had an initial rising of the serpent and the heat burnt a his pentacle necklace on his skin or something like that. So yeah if you've gotten into that condition it could literally melt inside your spine I could imagine that the individual would be pretty screwed, best to take care of your spine in the first place. Not to sure about electrotherapy, but natural methods usually are better than artificial ones.
