No. Like energy, your mind has to be focused in the here and now. If you focus it in future tense, it will never begin working until some time later, if at all. And if you program it in past tense, than it will never work because your working in the past, which is exactly as the name states. It's already passed.
That's why, when directing energy OR programming your mind, the affirmations in your mind must be working right here, right now, which means the affirmations must also be right here, right now. Present tense. This is so your mind can begin doing what it's supposed to do, right after the affirmation. Make sense?
