QUICK UPDATE :

  • Improved performance and smoothness on mobile devices

  • Made the breathing screen clearer and easier to use on phones

  • Fixed buttons overlapping or being hard to tap

  • Improved close and confirm buttons so they always work correctly ( Thank you @Ayleth [NG] ! )

  • Made importing flows easier, including importing multiple flows at once

  • Moved Export Flows to a more visible and logical place

  • Fixed images so they now carry over correctly between flows

  • Improved touch feedback and button sizing for better usability

  • Fixed popups so warnings and confirmations always appear on top

Please report any bugs if present. Just fixed plenty.

Looks spectacular and holds a ton of potential, as well as being useful in the right here and now anyway. A few suggestions:

  • More potential colors for Mastery Goals - or perhaps even just letting us set our own.

  • Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely togglable voices for any and all situations where counting is involved - I am currently using a non-ideal app purely because it offers speech output for counting repetitions.

    • Also, you can design this with magicians in mind - add a safeguard against accidental multi-taps or presses. I believe Brother Black Book's app had something like that. I didn't test it extensively but he wrote it has it, so I'm sure it does.

      • Furthermore, you could even add further granularity into this setting. Again, if I remember correctly, Brother Black Book's app turns action red in the Action Log or something if you accidentally multi-tap - you could instead allow the user to choose exactly what happens when a multi-tap is detected - a few easy go-to options would be warning you by playing a different sound (so you can be shaken out of your trance - sometimes not ideal, sometimes would be absolutely indispensable such as in the case of Planetary Squares and other such magick where the repetition counts absolutely cannot be mistaken), vibration and such. Also welcome would be the app letting you set exactly how quick of a double (or triple, or whatever) tap/click would constitute an accidental overclick/tap, as in how many milliseconds between each tap should be considered a mistake.

        • Lastly, you should add this whole subset of functions, including the double-tap safeguard itself, as an option as opposed to being on by default, and if you want to go the extra mile, you could even allow us to pick and choose exactly what workings we turn it on or off for.

  • I do not know how reliable and accurate saving things is - your original post says data loss is possible, but for such a big deal project, you probably want to fix that to perfection first and foremost. I think if no one has to worry about potentially losing all their data in the app, that there is always some guaranteed way of retrieving their data at worst, you can see a large-scale adoption of this app.

  • ToZ Calendar integration into your Calendar. This is not entirely up to you - I know that at least in the earlier years, the Calendar was protected somehow. Maybe this has changed. But either way, you can easily hit up the ones who manage the project, ask for whatever access would make it easy for you to integrate the whole ToZ Calendar into your Calendar, and voila. Being able to see not only our own planned stuff but also the best plannable stuff all in one place would remove that much more resistance and make using your app that much more pleasurable, and effortless.

  • Lastly, mobile port please. I know you already have a mobile app, and I have yet to try it, but just based on the video of that app alone, this app is FAR more extensive and besides, you can't work on that app anymore anyway.

I believe you noticed a LOT of thought went into especially my second suggestion. As a magician, I'm sure many of us use apps for things like counting, at least sometimes - I know I do. And I have always had to deal with subpar counting apps that were not designed with magicians in mind. You have a real good opportunity here in your hands to change this around - hell, you could even market it to "magicians" who are without, and get very wide-scale adoption. Maybe even make some money on the side. I wouldn't mind paying for an app that perfectly fulfills everything I have counted here. Not as a subscription for sure (come on man 😅), but I wouldn't mind paying something in the range of 1-5$ to own something like this forever - especially if more and more features keep getting added too.
