about dedication

I am sorry for asking this but a bad feeling I have that my dedication wasn't valid.so the time t read about jos I didn't read it completely and coz my first language isn't English I kinda screw it up.but it is now a year that I have dedicated now I just want to make sure.so the first time I didn't do any of the things nessecary for the ritual I just signed my name in blood said the prayer and burned it in candle white.then I read completely I did the dedication for the second time and did almost all things like drinking from bowl and...... but second time I didn't signed my name in blood but I burned the paper. I also didn't know where was north and south and west or east and I turned wrong. so my dedication was valid? should I do sth? like making it right?
