I've always liked cats, but this is my first one my family has bought and I absolutely hate him. He genuinely makes my blood boil.

It feel's ridiculous saying this about a cat, but he seriously pisses me off like no one ever has.

Worse, I thought cat's were supposed to be cool and distant, but he's constantly wanting attention/stimulation no matter how much you play with him. Completely disobedient, no matter how much training you do.

I live in a flat which makes it worse.

Is there anything I can do or should I just get rid of him?

Genuinely insufferable in his current state.

I think this cat type is unsuitable for city life/apartment living. Neutering the cat might calm it down, but that's a workaround solution, honestly.
