also, instead of cutting at the pad of the finger, try just at the side of it. it is less sensitive, and easyer to draw blood from. when a specific finger is not needed to draw blood for a ruitual, i liked to use the side of the last knuckle of the left thumb. just a light jab with a pointy tool...

a good plan. but one must be aware, just how common Kosher food is...only if you pay close attention to what you buy an you possibly avoid it. and even then...what about food prepared by restaurants? be wary of harming others unintentionally... or am i just deluded?
