Good evening Family, well at this time it is evening. I have a question that all should feel welcome to add context to, So while doing Queen Astartes's ritual last night before getting half way through it i was suddenly in tears, i mean balling my eyes out while continuing to do her ritual. I was just wondering if there is any significance to this or any information any of you would like to share, would help me and others as well. I also should mention i did Goddess Pythia's ritual not too long ago and the same thing occurred, overwhelming tears as i did her ritual. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. May the Gods bless you all.

Sounds like emotional release from repressions
The same thing happened to me.
I believe it is due to the fact that both have a strong and overwhelming energy, plus Lady Astarte is described as “tender and kind” in the power ritual (and I can confirm myself that She really is. Some time ago, I asked Her for help with a personal matter, and She was very supportive, just like a tender mother). It may be that these characteristics stir something in us.
For example, I never had a good relationship with my mother, and being surrounded by an energy like theirs moved me.
Could it be for similar reasons for you too?
A lot of people, men especially but also women, repressed many emotions for most of their life. Queen Astarte's energy helps to open this part of the soul. We aren't supposed to be closed off, this is dehumanizing. Humans are supposed to have emotions and to feel. That's what makes life more enriched, more alive.
From my experience, I can say that Queen Astarte's Power Ritual brought me a tremendous amount of inner calm.
I was able to visualize a green meadow full of flowers and animals, with a warm, enveloping sun.
I also imagine that the ritual touches parts of us that have already healed, bringing calm and "wounded" parts, bringing comfort, and that is how we are moved.
La regina Astarte è una dea immensamente meravigliosa e amorevole.
I believe it touches even the most repressed emotions, but the more repressed they are, the harder they are to feel and release. The important thing is to let yourself be touched by the energy of the Goddess Astarte, and little by little you will feel an unparalleled peace.
I have had the same experience with other rituals. It is as said in above posts.
Thank you everyone very much for the explanations on this, i really appreciate it. This definitely sounds like what it was, Our Gods are wonderful and i must allow myself to open up more with my emotions. I have definitely in life been more reserved in expressing my emotions as i grew up.

I would say my relationship with my mother has been good, but growing up my father was a bastard if you'll forgive the language here. He even recently was apologizing about it and was realizing that he was not very nice. He always provided for the house, but that is still no excuse to be the way he was. Thank you for the advice brother.

Thank you High Priestess, i have definitely repressed emotions for a good part of my entire life. This must change, i do feel much better ever since that first Ritual to Queen Astarte however. I just have to learn to express all emotions as strange as that sounds by saying it.

Yes, i used to have anger issues, depression etc... but earlier this year this was all fixed. When i was led back to the path, Queen Astarte was one of the divine i was really drawn to, seeing her Sigil in my mind and and just feeling this deep powerful connection to her. I truly believed she helped me to overcome these areas of improvement that i needed to work on. I do also know that inner calm you refer to as well, i can maintain calm and inner peace even with chaos around me it is a gift to be able to do so. Thank you for your explanations and advice Sister. Hail Queen Astarte!

When I first dedicated my life, I was in the midst of one of the worst bouts of depression I'd ever experienced. With meditation and the help of the Gods, I managed to overcome it on my own. I never took medication or went to a psychologist.
I believe that, deep down, I finally forgave the little me who hadn't understood who she really was and had let negative energy take over. Accept and process every negative thought.
Forgive your father; after all, he's a dormant and degenerate soul, left at the mercy of the enemy. You are a Zevist soul. Forgive yourself if you ever considered yourself weak, wrong, or alone.
Don't live in the past and release your pent-up anger by exercising. You'll see, everything will get better.
Two days ago and today, I also cried during the meditation on his seal and on myself. It surprised me at first because I didn’t expect it, but I felt relaxed and well after that.

I kind of understand you. We have a similar background. My parents provided for us financially, but emotionally they did a lot of damage.
I remember that at the beginning of my journey I was always crying, all the painful memories I had from my childhood came back to the surface... I remember once, in tears, I asked Lady Astarte: “Lady Astarte, will you one day be able to explain to me how it feels to be the daughter of a Father who loves you and is proud of you?”, becuase I never knew how il feels...
Through meditation and yoga , you will gradually learn to heal these wounds. Remember that you have the Gods by your side and have the opportunity to grow spiritually and become the best versions of yourself, while people like your father don't. They are dormant and cannot see beyond their own noses. We Zevists, on the other hand, possess the greatest of fortunes.🤍

At one point i did consider myself weak, but what we all go through and reaching the other side better just shows our strength through adversity. i will work on forgiving him. I appreciate your advice Sister, thank you for taking the time to give it.

Yes, it is indeed a cleansing if i am correct in putting it that way. I feel genuinely incredible now, like weight has been lifted off of me that i was unaware of.

Thank you Sister, apologies for the mix up earlier today when i called you Brother. Yoga is definitely something i have to re integrate into my routine, i am sorry you had to go through similar troubles like me as well. The emotional damages, close us off and isolate us. For a long time i only communicated with a few people, and barely with my parents for a couple of years. i live with them and am helping them with bills and other things as it has been my whole life, I know eventually i will have to stand on my own two feet but if i can make life easier for them then all the better.

All of us Zevists have had a difficult past. Even my parents never stopped making me feel inadequate and inadequate, so much so that I grew up with a never-ending sense of inferiority and inadequacy. They compared me to others, and, obviously, I came away defeated.
But as I reflected and moved forward, I realized that, unfortunately, it's not just their fault and that, ultimately, the important thing is to know WHO YOUR SELF IS and be strong in that sense.
I'm sure things will get better. Feel free to write to me about anything; I'll be happy to help you in any way I can.

This does you great credit, I hope that one day you will be able to go your own way.
Don't worry about the mix up :)
