I want to be her student because I feel overwhelming gratitude towards her. (She saved my life)
But what if I'm not qualified to be her student?
What will I be learning? How will I be learning it?
How will it affect my life?

Yes, it's possible. A man can have a Guardian Daemoness, just as a woman can have a Guardian Daemon. But it's not a strict rule.

Our guardian is very often the opposite sex from ourselves. Because this is a polarity of energy which we naturally lack, which we will need to work more with as part of our advancement. To grow and advance in a balanced way.
Marchosias is great. You should try to work with her in whatever way you can, and she will guide you to what works you should be doing. You already are her student, now you only need to begin doing more work if you haven't been doing much already.
