Question #5306: is coffee good for you?

I unintentionally quit coffee recently. I just haven't had time to make or enjoy any and I don't want to drink the stuff people around me make(it's poor quality, not prepared by someone who really loves coffee). If I have any anymore it's no more than a few cups on the weekend, which is if I drink any at all.

My sleep has gotten better though and my tolerance reduced unexpectedly quickly. I used to be a heavy caffeine consumer.

That is too much. 2 or 3 every day is enough to be seriously harmful. This is depleting your kidneys of energy so much, even after they have already been drained, that no energy is getting a chance to build back up and restore.

I agree. I used to drink 2-3 per day many years ago and I noticed later, that was too much.

I like to drink cappuccino 2-3 times a day so as not to fall asleep and not be sleepy on my work.

I did the same, many years ago, as most people do - take coffee on daily basis (2,3 or more) otherwise you are tired and slow in reactions. This is a sign of slight addiction. When I quit caffeine I felt extremely tired and zombie-like for some weeks. Later on my body adapted and now I feel awake without the (daily) need of caffeine, I simply wake up and there I am.
At now, if I eat a good amount of chocolate or drink a coffee during the day, mostly afternoon, I have some troubles falling asleep at night - I think I am more sensitive to caffeine due to I am not "addict" anymore. I only use caffeine in case I need to drive many hours for example, or high pursuits requiring intense energy for a few hours.
I do not say cofee should be abandoned, but daily habit in high amounts does not feel OK to me.
I also observe common people, NPCs, it's a worldwide habit drinking daily cofee(s). Also hollywood always promotes a cup of coffe "to cheer me up/wake me up" same as they do with whiskys "to overcome problems" and drugs "fight them but... look how amazing they are!"
I tend to be extreme at some choices so, while in doubt, I chose the zero option - coffe goodbye! I don't miss it. Chocolate yes... sometimes I eat with pleasure.

I agree a cappuccino from the $10,000 machine is a delicious drink. Probably one of the best tasting drinks. But it does do a lot of damage drinking too much of that or too often. You should try to get it down to drinking only one of them 2 or 3 times per week at the most. I will drink something like that 2 or 3 times per month.

Unfortunately, many of the best tasting things are some amount harmful. I think a gin and tonic with bitters is one of the most delicious tasting drinks, and if there was no alcohol and less sugar, I would drink them every day. But I have to drink them very rarely because it's very unhealthy.

Yes, coffee machines at my job cost a lot of money, as a lawyer I had to butt heads with the Supplier (to push through their managers and lawyers, referring to the norms of the law - the Civil Code), so that they took responsibility for a number of points regarding breakage, marriage and warranty obligations, as well as to provide longer warranty periods than they offered us.

Coffee and its varieties (like cappuccino) at my work are free for employees, in the same coffee machines there is milk, cocoa and hot chocolate.

Also, according to the terms of the contract, these coffee machines can only be filled with coffee beans of the best premium brands.

On Fridays, our business partners treat our employees to free craft ice cream, various drinks, and food for the purposes of advertising and marketing promotion of goods.
Large business is very flexible, i.e. it is always possible to negotiate with large Suppliers on favorable terms for both sides.

For example, recently, a Supplier damaged the goods during the transportation of a large batch of goods and put a defect in order not to replace the goods, our managers and accounting department agreed with the Supplier so that in the absence of claims against the Supplier, they would provide our company with more favorable terms of cooperation and in the absence of claims against the Supplier, bonuses and bonuses were paid to our company every month, our accounting department calculated that the income as a result of such bonuses and bonuses, as well as more favorable terms of cooperation in terms of profit and product promotion is more profitable for our company, how to replace individual batches of defective goods.

What I have personally noticed is that the caffeine present in other sources such as yerba mate, tea or black cocoa is more balanced, less overstimulating and harmful than the caffeine of coffee.

Each of these plants has different ingredients that affect the whole. Not only do these other sources include less caffeine on average, but also other 'balancing' ingredients that stimulate in a more stable way, so to speak.

HPS Lydia spoke well of yerba mate.

I got it too, myself, and initially my face would contort drinking it, now it's actually tastes really good and gives a buzz.

I thought it tasted like swamp water when I first tried it, lol. I love it now though. The current one I have has pieces of dried citrus fruits in it, the other has passionfruit, smells amazing.

Here is an excerpt from the sermon:
Addictions, etc....
By HPS Pythia
____________________________________

As for eating and drinking habits, hatha yoga will offset a lot of things regarding health, no different from working out and weightlifting; as these make your body system stronger and heighten your immune system.

If someone wants to cut out certain foods or drinks from one's diet, this is a personal choice and is fine. Drinking energy drinks , drinking coffee and such...I can assure you, these won't affect your powers. I am sitting here right now with a high caffiene mountain lightning soda and chocolate bar. I have also found caffiene can amplify the energy buzz and the aura at times. I like caffiene and will drink it for the rest of my life. Like I said, I eat and drink as I please and always will.

Zevism is not about abstinance. If someone chooses to abstain, this is free thought and free choice, but definitely not manditory or required for spiritual advancement. Abstinance is of the enemy programs. What good is power meditation if you have to give up pleasure, or getting what you want? With the plethora of enemy writings and crap out there that is corrupted trash and tons of not only wrong, but outright deadly advice regarding opening the soul and spirtiuality, this bleeds over into people believing they have to completely abstain in order to make any spiritual progress.

https://ancient-forums.com/threads/addictions-etc.237599/

The whole sermon is important not just this one excerpt!

"My point of this post is through meditation, when you get to a certain level, you will no longer have cravings for things that are harmful for you.

I eat and drink as I please, though in moderation. I know this is a touchy topic, but trying to fight an addiction isn't always the best way to go. If there is a serious problem, then try working on the addiction by affirming you are completely free from the desire for whatever it is you are addicted to."

"I do know that in many cases, when the soul does not have enough power, the mind will often take another direction in healing; directing the meditator as to changes regarding diet, taking medicine and whatever is physically needed. Getting to the level where the soul is strong enough needs a risen serpent for one, then a strong trained mind for another to focus and direct the energies.

Ideally, for most people, healing meditations work together with other things such as proper diet, and medicine if needed, at least until a certain level of power is reached."

On her level of advancement it's a totally different story but non of us is on her level of advancement. When it comes to us, we should definitely try eating as healthy as we possibly can.

This was my face when I first drank it. Yours looks tastier than mine! Mine is very dusty.

The dust depends on where it is sourced from. Some yerba mate appreciators say it's better to have more dust, some prefer less. Try a different brand or place of origin, you can even look online to find which ones have less dust.

I believe these were the two most accurate responses to your question. Meditate on it, and see what the Gods tell you as they can interpret the true meaning of what you are asking and advise if they know these are the answers you seek.

The below is the entire copied sermon from February 5, 2012 by High Priestess Pythia titled "Addictions, etc.":

There is a thread in the main ToZ e-group concerning cigarettes, tobacco use, now caffiene and energy drinks, marijuana use and so forth. Ok, everyone knows cigarettes are extremely bad. My point of this post is through meditation, when you get to a certain level, you will no longer have cravings for things that are harmful for you.

I eat and drink as I please, though in moderation. I know this is a touchy topic, but trying to fight an addiction isn't always the best way to go. If there is a serious problem, then try working on the addiction by affirming you are completely free from the desire for whatever it is you are addicted to. Do the 40 day Satanic rosary working beginning during a waning moon.

As for eating and drinking habits, hatha yoga will offset a lot of things regarding health, no different from working out and weightlifting; as these make your body system stronger and heighten your immune system.

If someone wants to cut out certain foods or drinks from one's diet, this is a personal choice and is fine. Then the endless bullshit of can't do this; can't do that in the way of using your powers, in order to keep true power in the hands of the enemy at the top.
Not with Satan's way.

HP Vovim has a risen serpent. He eats as he pleases, for one. There is an old saying 'the tightest grip is with an open hand.' Freedom is the key to spiritual advncement.

Abuse and consistent overindulgence of recreational drugs, alcohol, and such will obviously cause one problems, not to mention addiction, which DOES put holes in the aura. Use common sense. Again...if there is a serious problem or any problem where one wishes and desires to be free from anything...use the 40 day working. This may even have to be repeated. Trying to use force and fighting an addiction is not the best way to go. Same as there is a lot to be said about the soft martial arts. Force is not always necessary. It feels so much better when the desire for something harmful is completely gone forever, instead of using so much energy fighting the addiction every day. Ridding the desire is what power meditation is all about, as much as getting what you want and your desires fulfilled. Never forget this, as this is reaching the godhead...masterting your own life and destiny. This is the essence of True Zevism.

And the next below thing, was HPS Lydia's response in 2012:
Thanks HPS Pythia! I read ages ago that chocolate was bad, so it's good to hear from you that it isn't, because I love chocolate. It's a wonder I never put on weight. But I used to avoid eating it before meditating, thinking it would affect my ability to meditate, but now that I think about it chocolate releases endorphins which would actually help with meditating.

I was fairly new then, not clergy, so my reply is that of a newbie only 2 years in Zevism. I've since read other studies about how chocolate has health benefits. But I take HPS Pythia's advice and never really worry about what I eat, because of all the yoga and meditation I do, nothing really affects me. Although I usually eat healthily anyway, only the occasional sweet.
