Question #4659: Question about Astrology Chart Co-Rulers

If a planet is in the 12th house and is tightly conjunct with the AC by only 2 degrees then is that Planet still considered a Co-ruler due to how tightly conjoined it is to the AC or does it have to be conjunct from the 1st house side?

Does the planet still have a Major affect on my first house like this and should I keep an extra eye on it in prediction readings?

A Planet is considered a Coruler only if it's in the first House. In your case it has to be considered in the 12th House.

I would say that the characteristics of the planet may present to others as if it were in your 1st, due to being tightly conjunct to the AC. It will color your AC. It is not a 1st house ruler so reading for the future might demand a more nuance.

What about in the case where there are multiple planets in the 1st House?

They're all Corulers, if they're conjunct too then there is a Stellium. All the affairs ruled by those Planets are of primary importance in life.

Sun conjunct Moon [New Moon]
"This strengthens the house where it is found and gives the affairs ruled by the house special emphasis in the person's life. There is a very strong emphasis on the sign the conjunction is in; unless both luminaries are in adjacent signs. There is a tendency to be very concentrated, putting all of one's energy into something, to the exclusion of all else, with a strong focus in the life related to the house placement."
