I just finished cleansing my soul to attract money, I relied on my birth chart to see my deficiencies on the subject (I am well studied on the subject) and I feel ready to empower, however now venus is retrograde, will it be adequate to empower my soul to attract money? or while I focus on empowering my solar chakra?

It is better to wait for the Venus retrograde to end before empowering your soul to attract money. You could empower your soul in general without the intent to attract anything till then. Do give continuity to cleaning even while you do any kind of spiritual work to attract money. Cleaning a soul is a year or two long process or even more.
