In the 7th house and with more negative aspects and few neutrals, is this the origin of this problem?

Check this excellent threadFull site ↗ by sister Shadowcat. There are likely more placements that tie into the problem if it's really severe. Take the entire chart into consideration (Mars involvement, problems with Venus or the 3rd, 7th, 11th house rulers, retrogrades, etc.). As long as you're patient, you will resolve this.
