I am aware that any drugs can really mess you over both spiritualy and physically. What about paycodelic acid or shrooms? They are also bad, but what if you take them only once? Is there any positive ways to use shrooms or acid to your benefit, or is there only negatives? I am just curious and not planning on anything. Thank you and HAIL ZEUS!

Doing acid just once can cause permanent damage to your brain. There are accounts of this, where the person did it just once, and had flashbacks at random times for the rest of his life, thus ruining their chance for a good job, embarrassing themselves during social settings, and so on. It's not worth the risk.
When you do meditation properly, you can get the best "high". Bliss, serenity, connection to the cosmos at the highest level.
In addition, even a single dose can cause overwhelming anxiety, paranoia, or hallucinations. Sometimes, intense experiences are hard to process, which leaves a person confused or distressed.
Psychedelics can also impair your judgment, which may lead to accidents or risky behaviors. Psychedelics are illegal in many parts of the world for this very reason. Even if they were used safely, legal consequences can be severe.
As HPS Lydia said, the 'high' you can get from meditation, such as the bliss you get from working on the Pineal Gland, can be otherworldly.

I know of someone who only used them once, overdosed, suffered severe brain damage and completely ruined his life, and now has to live in a center for mentally handicapped.
