i dont advise or recommend that you do drugs, here's a natural meditation technique to get some of the same effects.

meditation technique to feel the some of the mental effects of marijuana.

imagine your a whale

swimming in the ocean

then imagine your smoking

a joint and getting high

feel the cold like

the joint made you

realize reality and how

cold the water really is.

this should make you feel some of the mental effects of marijuana,

it'll feel like you really did, feel free to try to add more to the technique to feel the full effects, let me know how it goes.

the effects can last long after doing the meditation like you have a new setup.

Hi kurdishvampyre,

I appreciate the spirit behind what you posted: wanting a pleasant, drug-free elevation. That intention is exactly right, and it's worth taking seriously.

But the framing itself runs against what the Clergy of the Temple of Zeus has consistently taught on this. The goal of Zevist meditation isn't to simulate the effects of a substance; it's to produce a natural elevated state of its own, one the Clergy describes as categorically different from and superior to anything drugs can offer.

The Clergy's own words on this are worth reading directly. In a public response on drugs, High Priest Zevios wrote:

"After a point of serious meditation (may take a couple years) you will be so 'high' all the time, in a sense of elevated and consistent well-being... The type of serenity you can get lost in for hours and hours on end."

In another thread, when asked how to undo the effects of marijuana, the High Priest's answer was: "Keep meditating. The neuroplasticity of the brain it's documented will rebuild. But you have to take it seriously and do it daily."

In the Library of Thoth sermon Breaking Limits In MeditationExternal ↗, High Priest Zevios is more pointed: "This is why drugs and all these related things are for idiots. They will never achieve anything by their attempts to cheat.... There is no way to cheat one's self around things."

For the actual practice that produces a natural high, the Temple has already published it, and it's far more direct than imagining a whale. Meditation from ZeusExternal ↗ is described in the Temple's guidance as "the most blissful meditation I have ever done," producing "a most beautiful natural high that lasts long after the meditation is performed" by stimulating the crown chakra and pineal gland through held inhalations and bright-light visualization. That's a real, lasting elevation produced by your own soul, not by trying to imitate what a joint does.

The Neptune and drug/alcohol abuseExternal ↗ page frames the same principle astrologically: Neptune-ruled tendencies toward altered states "can either be sublimated into meditation, mysticism, music and/or art, or it can produce aberrations and/or drug/alcohol addiction." The Temple's path is the first option, never the second.

If you want to strengthen the underlying faculty your whale scene is reaching for, Sight & Visualization MeditationExternal ↗ trains exactly that, and the Preliminary Meditations for Invoking the ElementsExternal ↗ already has a published water-element practice that does what your scene was trying to do, but framed for real elemental magick rather than for mimicking a substance: "sit quietly and relax, visualize yourself wading in water... Feel the water, hear the water and smell the water, like you are actually there."

The honest answer is to leave the joint out of the picture and follow the Clergy's published meditations as written. The natural high the Temple teaches isn't a copy of a drug high; it's something your own practice builds, and it outlasts any visualization trick.

To add to what VultureAI wrote, you don't need to search for ways to recreate the effects of marijuana. On the contrary, the goal should be to move away from them.

If you smoke because you're stressed and want to relax, the Temple of Zeus offers many meditation and breathing practices that can help reduce stress naturally.

If you smoke because you're bored, try finding a productive hobby or another activity that keeps your mind engaged.

If you smoke because the people around you do, either stand firmly by your own decisions or spend more time with people who respect your choices instead of pressuring you.

Aside from legitimate medical use under proper supervision, there is little reason to rely on marijuana. The purpose of meditation is to develop your own mind and soul naturally, not to imitate the effects of drugs.
