OKay guys i have by directed here by my good pal Egon, said I would get looked after in this thread so go easy on me guys

Right i am taking codeine for back pain now i know its an opiate and i know it cause constipation.

Main question is can i still "go" number 2 whilst taking them, i have stopped to see if that works and now i have developed a weird ocd thing meaning im paranoid someone hears me doing it   ( i done years in jail had too poop beside a cellmate and never worried :P )

Okay guys jokes aside constipation is annoying me I still need to go to the gym , ibrufon help a bit.

I would rather just stop the constipation has the codeine caused a build up of opiates thats maybe why i feel so stressed.

Help if can there ive just said it all :o :o

But serious it is painful as im eating alot for the gym i need to do you know what.

Thanks in advance.

Sacrificing your wellbeing for muscle. Not the right way.

Stop taking the codeine. It may be covering up your pain, but it is not healing anything. It is not helping to fix anything. So probably better just to stop taking that stuff and just try to ignore the pain.

Im thinking that pal, i will just lift less weight more time.

Prob best thing to combat the main issue is stop taking them thanks as per.

Not sure exactly what the cause of constipation is, but you can solve this by pushing acupoints while on the toilet (and therefore forcing energy into the large intestines). Try these: https://www.modernreflexology.com/acupressure-points-for-constipation/
Try all of them, and hold for at least 5 minutes. Whichever point works best depends on the exact cause of your constipation.

Opiates are definitely not a long-term solution, but your doctor is probably not going to care much about this. You have to seek out treatment for your back pain yourself. I don't know whether this is muscular or skeletal in origin, but either can be solved through a combination of TCM treatment and yoga.

Besides just the healing of the tissues, TCM also has means of giving much safer pain relief. I would highly advise you to see a TCM doctor if you are capable. As I said earlier, the doctor who prescribed you opiates does not care about your long-term health (otherwise they wouldn't have given opiates).

Speaking of yoga: I don't know if you are already doing it or not, but you would be really surprised how well your muscles will develop with regular yoga. This is because yoga is directly pushing extra energy into them.

Also, Sun and Mars Squares can grow your muscles as well, like natural steroids. It always makes sense to focus on spiritual solutions. For example, instead of going to the gym for 2 hours, it makes sense to go 1hr and 15 minutes, then spend 20-25 minutes doing a Sun Square.

Similar to acupoints, you can try mudras for increasing or decreasing certain elements in the body. In particular, the apana mudra acts on the base chakra and increases earth and ether in the body.

Since the base chakra rules the bowels, this may help relieve your constipation, so it is worth trying. My personal experience has shown it is incredibly calming, but I did it too much and it made me feel tired.

You can see the apana mudra/devil horn mudra in this thread: https://ancient-forums.com/viewtopic.php?p=129131#p129131

Codeine + High protein diet = two contributing factors to constipation.

Reduce one, change one or do both.

There's nothing magic about it I'm afraid.

CentralForce's point is a good one, which is basically that it is easier to remove what is causing a problem, than trying to bandage over it, repeatedly.

If you weren't having problems before the codeine, then your diet would be ok. However, now the limits of your diet are being tested. High protein can be harder on the digestion and potentially drying or otherwise harder to move, leading to constipation, especially in the absence of enough green veggies.

A better idea would be a more balanced diet. Don't forget that veggies clean the liver, and the liver removes excess estrogens and xenoestrogens from the body. Following this, make use of a Sun or Mars Square to support higher muscle mass without stressing your digestive system.

Both Mars and the Sun can be done in Squares now and within the next few months, so take a glance at the Calendar.

Bodybuilding is actively ruining your body, and with your diet you're doing that too. Are you blind to this? Do you realize what you're doing? Take a minute to take in consideration that your problems stem from something that you are consciously doing.

Aquarius bro alot of things in my life ruined me this one thing i do and have done since pre prison 2006 ( took it serious in there though) Won strongest man in Prison which is no mean feat.

For me being dedicated to that is better than running around like a wild man.

It imposes dicipline that along with TOZ is a good balance for me mate.

I know you have best interests for me or you wouldnt reply.

I see alot of these bodybuilders are dropping like flies, now im only doing this bulk to get me strong and back (to my old strength)

Its a good diet, but you are right it could cause strain on the body etc.

Bulk only for a few months then maintain thats the plan I done this a few years ago bro how im doing it this time.

Cheers bro.

Why don't you go to the store and buy a ton of broccoli and other vegetables, boil them, and store the part that you don't eat at the moment in refrigerator so that you have more easily and readily available later?

Why do you post on a health advice forum, but decide to disregard the advice of people who know better than you, then take advice from a 'friend' who is into broscience? Don't see you any issue in this?

You get specialist advice here, which you disregard. You get harmful advice by a moron, and you follow it to the letter.

What's the point of coming here then, if you'll take advice from someone who's heading to an early grave and knows nothing about health and nutrition? Just ask them and don't open topics here, wasting people's time.

This aside from the fact nobody needs codeine and other similar shit to grow strong, nor high-protein diet.
