My wonderful homemade board was lost when I moved. I dont have the materials to make a legit board right now, so is it safe to make a temporary one? If so, have any advice on making it and materials? All input is appreciated.

Well, I myself have not actually attempted making a ouija board from
scratch, but I don't see why you couldn't do a temporary one. Just be
sure to consecrate it in Father's name before use! So enemy nasties
can't get a hold of it and scramble your answers.
