I am using the ToZ astrology service for fixed stars and I must be misreading it because I seem to have like 60+ fixed stars relevant to my natal chart I was under the impression you should be looking at more like 8 or 7 some of them are repeated but even discounting that fact I seem to have a tremendous amount, am I missing something, does this mean something? I am trying to learn astrology but I am finding it very difficult.
For instance I have four different CAPUT ALGOL associations in my chart two regarding planets and two regarding houses, im just not quite sure how to start interpreting this.
HAIL ZEUS!
Yes it sounds like you are misreading something here.
Fixed stars only count if any planet, either the AC or DC (Maybe also the other two directions, not sure), or one of the points (Point of fortune, vertex, etc) in your chart is within 1 degree of orb of the star in question.
The fixed stars can have effects even if any such position is within 3 degrees, but not really anything notable. These placements matter when any of the above are exactly conjunct or within 1 degree at least of the star.
I believe they can also matter if a house cusp happens to be exactly conjunct a fixed star.
I'm not entirely sure if Inconjunctions also count, in some cases they might be notable. As for their meaning, only our astrology experts can tell you that, I don't have the necessary expertise or knowledge.
Other than that, it is not notable.
Therefore, you most likely have only a few fixed stars in your chart, and certainly it is impossible to have 60.
