May I ask why we have to kiss arse (liking a post and asking) to receive help that is very important? Did I miss something? Maybe I should start charging for people to have the password to all my (irrelevant) posts, which I should lock. It doesn't make sense.

Perhaps you should quit with the irrevelant posts and start advancing spiritually.

The "boy's club", how do you contribute to the construction of the Temple may I ask?

In no way. I am nothing. There was content in my message that was relevant to the original post however. And since we are sharing opinions, I shared mine.

This campaign aims to popularize Vultus Templorum and engage more Zevists. I'm not sure why it was difficult for you to understand.

There is a post on the Forums, from High Priest Zevios Metathronos that elencated all the things to achieve in 10 years.

Vultus Templorum is pivotal in this.

Now we are creating the basis needed for the wonderful things to come.
Being a strong, supportive and active Community is one of them.

What's wrong with making members more participatory and united? I like it much more now, than in the past years ago, when many members only doing Laarping and didn't make an effort to advance and improve.

This thread baffles me, when I read the title, I did not expect to see bitching about being asked to like a post.

I have nothing to reply here. You wrote 5 pages about a like. That speaks for itself.

Any answer or opinion I'd give seems like it would be FAR too religious of me, so...

We have to make a community, incentivizing engagement is good. We need engagement to grow, it's very simple.

Where did I write that you were nothing? I ask you where is your contribution to the ToZ since you try to call the fact that we ask for some kind of engagement (a little push of a button) for our community.

Also, its not everyone that is entitle to all knowledge, there will be some people that will be left on the bottom (by their own lack of commitment). Don’t worry, any zevist are safe but there is still a price to pay to attain higher ground.

It's like you made your life's purpose to act obtuse towards every decision made here.

How long until you realize its constructive criticism towards you instead of being "disagreed with because we're somehow wrong and dont want to admit it", which would be ironic if you do see us in this manner.

I guess thank you for keeping us on our toes but I hope you do take time to understand what everyone wrote here.

Your way of asking things "uncomfortably" is done in a quite rude manner. When something is arising curiosity, you respect that and try to formulate your question with politeness and by seeking understanding.

I think almost everyone who responded is part of the VT and understands how much effort goes into creating videos and other outreach media. It's minimum respect. Giving a like, a view, a comment is just very basic community understanding. We all want this and miss it in our lives. Zevists have it in these Forums and it's very precious for the majority of us.

We want to remind people to participate and understand what being part of society means.
Even with a like... that takes 2 seconds. No little act is ever meaningless.

How many sermons has High Priest written over the years? How many about Zevism as a religion and what our part to play is?

I don't understand what's wrong with our CLERGY asking us to support them and for the community to take action.

What's more, you also understand the greatness, the immensity, the power of our High Priest Zevios Metathronos. He gives us so many teachings and, above all, works hard for the whole ToZ, of which you are also a part. Therefore, I find stupid complaints about a like and a comment. Understand that the teachings of the High Priest are sacred, and if you don't understand their greatness, that's your problem, not ours.

There isn’t anything wrong with it, were meant to support our Clergy and our Gods above them to really make this community our spiritual home.

I hardly ever recieve 'likes' on my posts, because I don't have "influencer" status and I speak honestly and I try not to be sensational.

Members here don't give likes to those who have "influencer" status. They give likes because they liked the post. Random newbies with 10 posts will get a lot of likes on a post if it was a quality post.

I'd like to add something here while we are on the subject. Receiving likes is direct confirmation that members are interested in our efforts and want to receive more posts/etc relating to the topic. It's helpful to get a general idea of what members want and appreciate.

Brother FancyMancy, I don't really understand why you are so worked up about giving one like and supporting our community, if you are a part of it. You have written many informative posts over the years, which sometimes were mildly received perhaps because they were too long, but I don't think you are doing a bad job personally. Why do you feel the need to alienate yourself and put yourself at odds with the members of our community? You really should mediate on that and try to solve this issue. No one ever said you are not welcome here.

Exactly. That's what we need to get across.
Remember, as a life lesson, that nothing comes for free, everything requires effort and sacrifice.
Liking the post , by the way, is not a huge sacrifice, in my opinion.

I literally cannot believe that you are making a complaint about something that the Clergy, that works freaking HARD for us and for The Gods, asked to do. It's an easy peasy lemon squeezy like to a post, they didn't ask you to go on a battlefield and lose your life.

I am particularly upset because this is something that is in OUR interest, a lnowledge that can only be beneficial to our development. If you are not interested in advancing and doing something for the Clergy and yourself, I guess that's your problem.

That's crazy statement. You want something of more serious nature and you can't show a gesture that you are willing to give, to get? Even one like?

Don't do it, probably to do a ritual for God when you need a help would look for you like a climbing to Himalayan hills if you are this way.

Kiss arse? What the hell. Feeling entitled for whatever reason to get help in advancement for granted for doing nothing?

With this attitude you can go to take what is available for public for free and it will be enough for you because that's how much you are ready to deserve.

I mentioned ages ago this place is very religious.

“This place” is religious. We are a religion and the fact that you can’t respect that speaks more about you than “this place”.

Back in the Golden Ages religion took top priority and was a part of a healthy ethical and spiritual society.

Someone who has no religion, has nothing to stand for, is nothing.

If you think you belong here because we are an anti-religion, or we are against christianity only, you are very mistaken and here for the wrong reasons.

You have been here for years, I notice your posts, you bring zero value to this place, I don’t think you even meditate or have anything spiritual going for you. Just some ramblings about politics, christianity, and other stuff no different than an atheist. You have no wisdom.

You need to be better, you have been here for ages and wrote and read thousands of posts, this can’t be your mentality. This is not some random forum that has interesting eccentric discussions that you like as a mental hobby. This is a religion and a path and it needs to be practiced and walked upon.

This is pretty much summarized the issue that needs to be addressed, as FancyMancy has to decide to want to advance strongly.
We all have to advance. It is the whole point of being here.

At this point, me going and pressing the 'like' button on such posts would seem more like something I have to do now, rather than actually meaning it personally and truthfully. I still hardly ever do these types of reactions to posts anyway, and I'm not up-to-date with reading all posts/sermons, either.

As I have said in some posts before - this is just FancyMancy posting nonsense. Just ignore it. It doesn't matter.

Or you could just stop the mental semantics and man the fuck up along with spiritually advancing strongly and be more a part of the Temple of Zeus community... that is always the best option.

I'm really not trying to be rude, but you have been around a very long time and you are not really looking at any of this like a Zevist.
Why are you here if you are going to just post random things, not engage in the community, and also not advance basically? Makes no sense to me.
