I have the book and I've used EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) with zero results. But I must say that when I did it I was under a huge amount of stress and perhaps didn't stick with it long enough.
Like you, I'm uncertain ... I'm not at ease with the fact that the founder and most practitioners of EFT seem to be active christians for one thing and make mention of the christian god, angels, etc. in their testimonials.
On the other hand, I don't believe in throwing out the baby with the bath water & I have read of positive results with EFT that had no christian bullshit attached. If the technique is sound and is getting results, it merits further study & application. I may try using it again as an adjunct to healing meditations; not decided yet.
As for the others you mention, I haven't heard of them. I know one must be careful because some techniques are just new age nonsense, some are useless at best and others such as Ekanar I believe it's called, can be quite harmful.
