Hello there ,I was thinking to start this

Intelligence Working

START: Waxing moon in Aquarius, Gemini or Virgo. The best time is as close to the full moon as possible. Try to always do this in the planetary hour of Mercury. Do NOT ever start this working when mercury is in retrograde and don’t start this working during the Void of Course Moon.

2. Vibrate the rune MANNAZ or KENAZ 40 times.
3. Affirm 9 times:
"My mental intelligence and my learning ability are completely increasing in a healthy and positive way for me forever.”

Do this for 40 days, 80 days or 90 days.

But I am not clarified about one part , can you only start it only in one of the 3 signs or any signs ( but favorable related to mercury ) & the moon waxing. Currently the moon is waxing in pisces.

For the best results surf the wave in the direction it leads you. For average or below average results surg against the tide (for most people, beginners and intermediate alike). In other words, work with the Moon (or in other cases, with planets) as indicated.

While it is not necessary, especially for beginners, I want to mention what NakedPluto said.

The most optimal way for doing such self improving workings, is to first obliterate the negative karma you have in this area, and replace it with "good karma", like this working.
I don't completely remember what JGNP said, but it goes something like this, you destroy the unwanted, and replace it with something beneficial.
