Hello!
Going straight to the point: what do you think about this synastry aspect in the chart of me and my partner?
It's more a curiosity rather than an actual problem but it's not the first time as my last long-term partner had the same aspect.

I'm a Taurus rising while he's a Scorpio rising.
His 7th House (the cusp) falls into my 12th House, as well for his Sun being in my 12th.
My 1st falls into his 7th.
My Venus squares his Saturn.

I usually think of some sort of past life connections.
It's interesting to think about how I always seem to attract long-term partner with this exact or similar aspects. There were different reasons of why we broke up but these details were pretty much always the same.
I know this is an anonymous question but I don't feel 100% safe in sharing a picture so I hope this is understandable.

People attract same karma because they have a program created by their past actions that must be played out. They have a program to fall in love with the specific karmic pattern people until they change and improve their own behavior towards this world and build better karma.

Not sure we are able to judge over your patterns over 1-2 aspects. Saturn-Venus aspects alone do not open the whole picture. Nodes, Pluto conjunctions are important, points such as Vertex and critical degrees if any in anyone's natal chart. There are a lot of important things, the aspect of 2 planets can't say. Saturn and Venus show specific pattern but it might play different and even opposite ways according to all other signs. For example in lower octave emotionally rejective combative charts it might show that some rejection might take place, especially from the side of Saturn, especially if Venus is Chart Ruler. More harmonic soft natal Saturn might feel like more romantic distance. In other cases one of the partners might stay a widow/er after death of another. And the idea of distance expressed by this aspect thus might play out as distance in time and space. It is not always destined to be emotional distance.

You might also be interested to see whether you yourself have this aspect between your own Saturn and your own Venus and the way how it plays out (the octave). In the higher octave it might be responsibility in love, stability, loyalty, reliability and eternity, often tested by loyal widowhood. When 7th Venusian topic connects to Saturnian 10th topic it might be unbreakable link gained by fidelity, loyalty and lifelong faithful service in the higher octave, and all kinds of evil karmic links gained by wrongdoing in the lower one.
