I've always wondered how the sigils for summoning gods are created, why that type of sigil is needed to summon a specific god, and most importantly, would it be possible for a person to create a sigil while still alive that represents them and if they wanted to be summoned, it would be enough to use the sigil that person created?

It's not a seal, it's a sigil.
Sigils are used to summon the energies of the gods into our soul and communicate with them.

I think it isn't logical to think about it for now as we're not that much powerful to do this.
All of our Gods have a message and their sigils contains symbols associated with the Gods and their messages. I believe their sigils are based on their messages and symbols because of this.
