Tinnitus most likely.

Often it's an attack from the enemy or enemy entities. Like a sudden flow of energy hitting you.
I feel this in my head area, as probably their attacks are directed to my Mars (just my personal thought, as the head is of Mars).
Normally they dissipate or probably rebound back to sender, thanks to own Aura of Protection.
Sometimes I just clean a bit my Aura to wipe away some residual dross, in case any (rarely happens to me, but a quick cleaning is advisable).
