On my 7th day. Should I cancel it or keep going? I also started a Venus-related rune work during the retorgrade, should I cancel that or keep going?
I didn't realise it. I saw a good sign for Venus on Astrodienst and just went for the Square, forgetting it was retrograde.

First of all, as you've already been told, cancel it. If you want to start squares, check the calendar created by our wonderful Clergy ☀️

What does it mean on the 7th day?
You need to look at the astrological situation the day you want to start the square.
The planet needs to not be retrograde, and to not be in fall or detriment signs. The Moon not VoC; in the case of Squares it does not matter Moon sign and phase (but check it when starting other spiritual workings or magick).
If the planet turns retrograde or enters another sign the following day, it's ok, and it is still valid.
What matters it's the situation of the exact day you start it.
