Active TranslatorI wouldn't mix a Rune with a mantra from a different source, and Algiz is just too good to not be used for your AoP. So that only leaves out Sowilo to add in.
You can do a Sun Square for protection.

Yes, and runes such as Algiz, Sowilo, Tiwaz, Thurisaz, Berkano, and a few others. However, one has to construct a suitable one methodically, not just mashing everything together without a good idea. Do not mix runes and Sanskrit in the same session.

The question was is solar energy in general, or just runes a good option for an aura of protection.
