I ve met someone during this transit which really sparked my interest and also started seeing each other. Should I continue with it doing things more slowly and patient or should I let it go till the direct motion?

It doesn't seem appropriate to abandon a relationship like that. You could keep it in a stalemate until the period passes, though. When Venus stops its retrograde motion you might start taking the relationship seriously.
