Any amount is fine and greatly appreciated, don't put yourself on the street or go hungry to donate, nobody wants that to happen. I believe that a regular donation is preferable even if it's smaller than a one time donation, because it makes it easier to budget for than sporadic donations. Small donations add up over time and are less impactful to your finances than big one time donations, too.

So, do what's comfortable for you.
