I have been trying to contact a God for a few days without any actual results.
I have only tried meditation on his seal for about a week since there is no his power ritual.
I was wondering, therefore, what might be the source of this difficulty.

You are clearly not psychically advanced enough to have clear visual and auditory contact with them. But that doesn't necessarily mean you won't have any kind of contact at all:

It takes consistent practice and daily meditation to be able to actually hear the gods, it can take anywhere from months to years. Keep working hard and be realistic and eventually you will be able to communicate with them.
