Good day. Just wondering, i’ve had some crystals (clear quartz) I collected from a hike years ago, I’ve cleansed them and keep them in my room. Can I use crystals for meditations and prayers? If yes, what are the best crystals one should use? Thanks!

There is a book called "Crystal Bible" by Judy Hall. I recommend it. I have all three volumes for example.
Obviously you are only interested in the practical part about the effectiveness of crystals, leaving aside the new age crap about angels and similar nonsense.
This book could be the right one for you to answer these questions, always avoiding angelic degradation, but focusing on the real useful information.
However, yes, Crystals can be used in spirituality.
Clear quartz is excellent for cleaning the aura and chakras, and doing your aura of protection. It amplifies energy so it can be used during rituals, and can amplify any working.
And as SiguaceDiSatanas wrote above, The Crystal Bible will tell you more about crystals :)
