Question #1633: Retrograde Saturn

I got a question regarding Saturn retrograding in my first house.

Is it gonna be a rough time for me during this retrograde period?

Saturn is also my chart ruler.. so I am asking what to expect and what do I do to prepare myself for this transit?

Saturn is my chart ruler as well. Saturn in 1st house was the best time of my life. Although, the retrogrades are terrible. You'll need to push through them.

Saturn in 1st will help you grow, be more productive, do more and be more fulfilled with your progress. It will give you responsibilities ofc.

But if it's your chart ruler especially if you're Capri. you'll love it. You might actually feel like you've been waiting for it. Aquas have it a little more tough since they hate restrictions and are not very in tune with their Saturnian traits. But Capris thrive.

Same. Although there have been difficult events, I didn't go through the horror stories I was expecting from what everybody else says about saturn transiting the 1st.

Or to put it another way, I simply didn't experience it as the horror story that everyone says it is. Like you said, it feels like it's what I've been waiting for. It comes natural.

Not to say that it was easy or pleasant or anything. But you're built for it.

Saturn can also put you in the required situations, opportunities and responspilities to start fulfilling your potential. Especially, when you have been slacking/over-indulgent/spoilt for a long time now and waiting to get outside of this rut but you've been feeling stuck.

For me it's as follows: big heart break/losing something very important to me or the most important thing to me at that moment, or getting betrayed, feeling in danger, etc.

Realizing I've been a little bitch recently. Realizing I need to become better. Getting huge opportunity or gift because of my hard work. Realizing I need to be the best. Getting stressed despite of unheard progress because I want to be the best. Feeling fulfilled because I am growing. Having a breakthrough because I am working hard, etc.
