Question #1371: Vibrating AUM & other mantras

I don’t know if there has been other post about this before but I was wondering what power does vibrating AUM have during meditation? Last time I was meditating something told me to vibrate AUM when cleaning my aura and it seems be positive.
Can any SS tell me more information on AUM, I search the site but there so much information on it hard to find an answer.
