With great delight, I am honored to share with you the fruit of my dedicated efforts in crafting this composition for the Joy of Satan anthem. I hope that this melody will be announced to the the majority of our community so that all members can check out this musical piece. HP Hooded Cobra has approved of and cherished this composition. Moving forward, I require the collaboration of other accomplished musicians to record, mix, and produce this anthem. Please read on to learn how you may help in this Opus.

Please find the MP3 by clicking on this link: Home of the Brave.

I believe that it is at the discretion of HP Hooded Cobra to select a fitting title for this anthem. While I titled the MP3 "Home of the Brave" since it is the initial line in the lyrics, The Rising Sun brought to my attention that this may cause misunderstandings as it bears a resemblance to the American anthem's phrase "The Home of the Brave."

Last year, I noticed HP Hooded Cobra and the community's attempts to create an anthem for Joy of Satan. At that time, I did not offer my assistance. However, a few months ago, seeing that the anthem had not yet been created, I decided to commit my time and knowledge to compose this anthem and to thereby express my deep reverence for Lucifer Satan and my gratitude to Joy of Satan for the great spiritual knowledge that I freely discovered here, which granted me power, peace, and wisdom to advance and shed my old skin, heal, and rise. Elsewhere, most spiritual information I could find led me to weakness because it was adulterated and not ensouled with the Truth. At least, JoS put me on the right track and after I built up strong foundations, I could navigate further by reading relevant books and practicing consistently.

When I first embarked on this challenge, I asked Satan Mahadeva for inspiration, meditating on his Divine Presence, and sooner than later, this inspiration manifested in this composition after several weeks of dedicated work. This is a reminder that our prayers are indeed heard and answered.

I devoted many hours to the process of composition to create the following anthem and would, therefore, appreciate your feedback. I am joyous and thankful to employ my talent and skill to create this meaningful anthem, which will be cherished and appreciated by a spiritual community, thus imbuing meaning to all the efforts I have made to learn music composition. I hope for a future where Spiritual Satanists unite and chant this anthem, as the words by HP Hooded Cobra and the melody inspire them with devotion, hope in a better world, and confidence in the Divine and in the upliftment of the human spirit. May this the energy of this anthem inspire us with the spirit of unity and victory.

We require the collaboration of a music producer to record and mix this composition. Furthermore, we invite all singers who would like to participate in creating this anthem to offer their collaboration as well.

I created a new email for this teamwork and for the Forums generally. Please contact me either directly on the Forums or through [email protected]

The following lyrics are written by High Priest Hooded Cobra:

Verse 1:
Home of the Brave
House of the Strong
The Gods are within
They live in us all

Verse 2:
Invited to Battle
We will defend
All that is sacred
We'll hold till the end

Chorus:
Eternity, Eternity
For us all await
Joy of Satan
The Home of the Brave

Verse 1 (repeated)

Verse 3:

Enlivened in Spirit
Sharp as a Sword
Truth and Victory
The World shall behold

Lovely!
I can only picture "heaven" while listening to this, really good job.

To be honest I was expecting abit more Encouraging/Rebellious, as I described earlier, "drops" bigger volume changes, faster rithm, etc..
But we aren't held back to make other "movements" too.

Bravo! Very aristocratic and dreamy. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer.. because its pure ear candy lol.
I look forward to it being developed further

..hopefully in the future we can have a whole album worth of beautiful music, I enjoy music much more when its created
by SS. You can often sense the presence of the Gods within them.

Impressive work!

Thank you for your cordial feedback! Most national anthems are around 1 or 2 minutes or even shorter, but I can create a variation that is longer.

The anthem is based on HP Cobra's lyrics, which convey this energy.

The more you meditate on the Gods, the more you realize that they are heavenly. They abide in peace and eternal sunlight. It is from this infinite divine source that we must gather the strength to become victorious.

Yes indeed. I really can't put it in words, I re-listened to it today. It's exactly what I would picture as "Hellenical". It's not really classical music, it's not really anything that I heard before. Very lovely that's what I can say.

Thank you for this gracious feedback! I love Hellenic music and am happy to know that you find my musical style Hellenic.

I can and do respect the time and effort that went into this composition, but I must say that I am just not feeling it. That is all

Of course, if this in the end officially becomes JoS anthem, I guess I will have no other choice but to tolerate it.

I wish no offense towards anyone of the people who worked on this. I respect your effort.

From a critical standpoint, this composition showcases both strengths and weaknesses. Despite conveying a fundamental message, it is not without flaws.
The issues within the piece primarily stem from a lack of harmonic precision. Various elements deviate from the overall flow, appearing somewhat arbitrary in their placement.

While the composition falls short of reaching the heights achieved by the musical masters, it inherently carries the potential for improvement, offering an exciting stage for further development. The intended melody appears to embrace a methodical, unhurried rhythm associated with beauty. Yet, it aspires to embody a Venusian essence, a deliberate departure from the nonsense norm present within the day of today. We certainly don't want an anthem that touches upon the darkest aspects of life with complete negativity; the polar opposite instead.

To enhance the final outcome of the anthem, a more pronounced and indicative nature of allegro should be incorporated, complemented by elements of Crescendo and Decrescendo. Drawing inspiration from Beethoven's "Waldstein" masterpiece can guide the integration of these much needed dynamic elements. I believe such is necessary.

I particularly appreciate the dedication to this project. This is a beauty. Make sure you keep up and don't fall short.

Constant work will keep generating a masterpiece eventually. I believe more work is required. Maybe also the lyrics can be applied to other music.

I don't know how it went for other nations, but for us, a bunch of people handed in their work and it got decided which one will be the final musical anthem.

Maybe you cold tell him how you pictured the anthem to be exactly, on my end I would have put a bit of "O Fortuna" souce in it.

Ok, honest opinion here.. Should the anthem not be more epic? I get it that it tries to be melodic in some parts but listening to the melody it just doesn't represent spiritual satanism.. I think the melody should be a bit more eastern like (more eastern type scales?) Also, the break at 1:06 isn't good imo since the song is trying to build a momentum only to flatten it totally..

Also, not a big fan of the lyrics, they sound be more poetic rather than just simply rhyme, I get it that they represent fighting and so on but I don't feel the spirit of fighting written in them.

Sorry if I sound too harsh

Maybe you should reevaluate your understanding of spiritual Satanism, if you think it is primarily fierce, loud, and combatant. The figure of Shiva as Bairava and of Kali as Bairavi are aspects of the spiritual path. Yet, Satan as Shiva remains the Adhi Yogi, the symbol of peace or Shanti and enlightenment. Why should the anthem be a call for war? The anthem should reflect the inner soul of JoS, which is beautiful and spiritual.

The anthem of the Third Reich is also expressive of the poetic beauty of the nation rather than a call to aggression.

As for the lyrics, Hight Priest Hooded Cobra wrote them and I composed the music based on that. It is a collaboration and we need more collaboration of a music producer, mixer, and singers to finalize the anthem.

I do not expect the anthems of ancient Egypt and Greece, for example, to be unpoetic and unheavenly. The composition has an eastern vibe, more Hellenic than Oriental. There isn't only one style of melody that expresses Spiritual Satanism, which is the true spirituality, and you can't dictate whether a piece reflects spiritual satanism or not, but a melody that is heavenly is sure to represent higher consciousness and glorious existence: the fruit of meditation.

The more you meditate and find inner peace, the better you will understand the soul of Spiritual Satanism.

Are you a musician or music composer? If you are, try to improve the harmonic procession, which you have mentioned, although this piece is more melodic than harmonic, and it conveys a modal feeling rather than pronounced tonal harmony. I did my part, the rest should be more collaborative. There is an infinity of possibilities for the melody, I certainly don't have the privilege and time to create more possibilities.

I don't understand your point about weakness. Beauty and peace are not weakness, they are higher power.

As for the tempo, I'd rather keep it 88 BPM which sounds best and gives an esoteric effect. I don't think we are running a marathon or rushing with hurry to accelerate the tempo up to allegro. The US anthem, for example, is dignified andante and stately. Solemn music is usually moderately Andnate, without the feeling of rushing.

I don't know how it went for other nations, but for us, a bunch of people handed in their work and it got decided which one will be the final musical anthem.

Maybe you cold tell him how you pictured the anthem to be exactly, on my end I would have put a bit of "O Fortuna" souce in it.
Maybe you can say thank you for the fruitful effort, knowing that you're criticism stems from inactivity and unproductivity.

The anthem doesn't necessarily need to be like O Fortuna. Why project these expectations? Moreover, the lyrics do not convey a style of O Fortuna and we should not be copycats: this is immature and unprofessional to ask a music composer to copycat another work; it is also an attempt to blot his personal music style. I

t would be helpful if you create another melody with the vibe you are speaking of and share it with us. Note that no one said this is the final Anthem. I gave of my time and talent to compose this piece and the feedback of HP Cobra were very positive so I asked him if I should share it with the community and ask for further collaboration and he agreed. Enough of this reptilian energy that I'm getting from some members over something deeply positive that i created, even if it doesn't meet some people's unrealistic expectations who are asking me to compose something as great as the musical giant Beethoven's magnum opuses.

Lastly, you have been trying to come up with an anthem for over a year and you still haven't made a draft to improve, if I am not mistaken. Desiring perfectionism without taking the first step will get us nowhere. I asked Lord Satan for inspiration and came up with this result.

About the part starting at 1:06, you really don't know what you are talking about. We are moving from a modulated interlude back to the verse with another tonality. It is like a short modulating bridge and I love its magical effect.

Constant work will keep generating a masterpiece eventually. I believe more work is required. Maybe also the lyrics can be applied to other music.

So, do you want this melody to be the one for the anthem or not? Owing to your feedback via email, I understood that you wanted that and I, therefore, asked for the collaboration of a producer, mixer, and singers.

On my part, I devoted a substantial amount of time and hard work to create this composition and can't create other melodies for free or without receiving anything in return anymore, although I have been glad to express my gratitude to JoS through this endeavor so far.

You need to decide on a melody so that a producer can enhance its arrangement and harmony. By all means, this composition can be greatly enhanced by a competent producer who may improve the arrangement.

Notify me, if you need my further help or if you choose this composition and want me to manage the collaborative teamwork. I might be offline for a while otherwise because I have plenty of work to do in the meantime.

Moreover, if someone wants to send me an email on the provided address ([email protected]), please let me know on the forums in case I do not reply.

I understand your frustration, but I have given you positive feedback and the only negative/constructive, or we can say, my opinion (and others, although not many have replied), was that I pictured it to be more "epic, encouraging, empowering, energetic"...

As for the mention of "O Fortuna" I did not meant that we should copy it, or even that we should switch to that style, I meant the feel of power and encouragement. I thought that this would be intuitive.

You are completely right that the nature of the Gods and our spirit, and the spirit of JoS is lovely, melancholic, which this piece of music reflects, but a music doesn't become "brutal, rotten, anger-full, .." when it is more encouraging, in fact, power and being energetic, and even fight is a part of us:

the reality is that we are at war, the Gods are too, so this becomes our nature also.

You must also be mistaken me with someone because I never participated in this project as I'm not a musician nor a compositor.

As for my reply to HPHC, I thought that he doesn't like it. If HPHC wants it to be only melancholic, than I'm okay with that.

Some references to what I'm talking about:

I love how it's being done, it's not about revolt, hatred and blood.
It's not a "revolution", it's simply the preservation of the spiritual beauty that makes the change itself.
It's going to be better than any other "Satanic" music I've ever seen

I'm not frustrated and there's no need for frustrations. I understand your point, but your voice sounded insolent.

HP Cobra loves it. He says it requires more work to reach perfection and we can explore different melodies as well, however.

Thank you for the references. I have often imagine such an anthem to be more epic and this was my vision in the beginning. I guess the lyrics by HP Cobra inspired me with a more elevated and blissful muse.

In my opinion it lacks that aspect reminiscent of darkness, from where we fight strong to bring light. In my opinion it could be done with strong tones of military music, but with mystical traits, perhaps with a Latin text like Fortune Plango Vulnera.

Something similar to the Baalzebul hymn.

Is there a recording of the Beelzebul's hymn you are referring?

Vira, I completely agree with you, I join your assessment 😻

Hmm, well, it sounds more like Christmas music designed for Runescape to me. Perhaps it could be used as a Yule "carol" instead?

I don't think it's appropriate as the JoS anthem. It lacks virility, and doesn't inspire any strong feelings. It's far too placid.

I believe, first, one must establish the intent of the piece, and work from there. What does the JoS represent to you? And then work along those lines.

To create a more militaristic feeling, perhaps an emphasis on drums? Those frequencies can induce feelings of aggression such as with tribal war drums, to prepare soldiers for battle.

If I can give you some suggestions for inspiration.

Look at history, look at all the great civilisations that have existed before us, look at all our ancestors who fought for Satan in their era, with their means and in their circumstances. Until Hitler, and after Hitler there is the last chapter of this era where we will complete the labours of more than 2000 years of history, to win the war and fully restore the Kingdom of Satan.

Joy of Satan is the union with which we will complete everything and win.

The hymn must remember all the hardships overcome over the centuries, from the collapse of the Great Empires, to the burning of witches, commemorating all the historical events of us Satanists, from Newton to Abraham Lincon (to name a couple), to the great war between Hitler and the Communists.

With the grand finale where Joy of Satan emerges bringing Satanism back to its purest form, exalting the Gods to the max and destroying the enemy with the light of Satan (Truth).

In addition to this, the music must remind us of the antiquity and mysticism of Satanism, and the eternity of our Kingdom of Satan. Knowing that after this chapter of Joy of Satan, our goal will be to create the Superman, and it will be Divinity and Immortality alongside the Gods.

Here we have outlined:
-A memory of greatness, from civilisations such as Atlantis and Egypt.
-A dark period, from the presence of the jews and the Middle Ages.
-A period of complete change, Hitler.
-And where all seemed lost, the final triumph of Joy of Satan, ending the war against the enemy.
-And after one there is a vision of heaven and eternity awaiting us.

Here you have many good concepts to build on, but I advise you to use mystical and military tones, since existence is an ongoing struggle and since we will be a warrior civilisation.

This assignment is very important, our anthem must be remembered as the top of the top for the aeons to come.

Right now I would tell you to start again, but I am sure you will be able to create something unique.
