Is the Universe Determinsitc?

A random and deep thought. I watched a series called "Devs" and it brought about a lot philosophical questions in myself regarding a possible deterministic outcome in all things.

This idea seems logical, yet there is some argument to it. I watched a video (link below, 20 minutes long) and it seems to purport that chaos can often become deterministic, yet chaos theory appears to rule over deterministic theory.

I'm not very smart and I can't make heads or tails of what the true nature of the universe is.

What are your thoughts on the butterfly effect? True or false? Any and all thoughts are welcome.

No Hidden Variables: Some interpretations of quantum mechanics, such as the Copenhagen interpretation and the many-worlds interpretation, suggest that quantum measurements are fundamentally probabilistic, with no underlying "hidden variables" that determine the outcomes. This absence of hidden variables reinforces the non-deterministic nature of quantum mechanics.
The non-deterministic nature of quantum mechanics challenges classical intuitions about predictability and causality. It introduces an element of inherent randomness into the behavior of particles, making it impossible to precisely predict certain properties or outcomes in advance. Instead, quantum mechanics provides probabilistic predictions that describe the likelihood of various outcomes, and these probabilities are often confirmed through experimental observations.
This inherent non-determinism is a fundamental aspect of quantum mechanics and distinguishes it from classical physics, where the behavior of objects is traditionally governed by deterministic laws.

Although the information above is difficult to understand if there is no background in the field it does prove that at some level there are things that are not "deterministic" in the Universe.
