I love the Gods, I love the Gods with my entire being, but there is a conflict of rationality in my mind. What I am about to say is in no way meant to insult their Highnesses, I love Them greatly, but why do I love Them? Is it because I'm just saying so? Is it because I am weak and They are strong? Is it because They show me love? Is it because I show Them love? Is it because I cannot comprehend Their power? Is my curiosity making me love Them? I only have respect towards Them. What do I respect about Them? Is it Their power or wisdom? Do I love Them because I respect Them? Is it pure love if the reason I love Them is Their strength? Is it not selfish to act like I love Them because I am weak? Am I allowed to express my love towards Them if it's not pure love? Can I even offer pure love as an inferior being? Is my love not selfish and insulting if it is not pure? Do I love Them for myself or do I love Them for Theirselves? Does my love benefit Them or benefit me? Is it even love if it benefits only me? Do I love Them or do I love myself?

Love for the gods is not based on their power or wisdom. Relationships are formed by events over time. This is no different for our relationship with the Gods.

We love and respect the Gods for their support in difficult times, for their love and kindness to us.

Their loves are perfect and unique. It is quite normal for you to question this unusually strong exchange of love, and I think you will come to understand it better over time through your experiences and interactions with the Gods.

You cannot love another if you do not first love yourself. I don't think anyone but yourself can answer the rest of your questions though.

A good place to start is the love children inherently feel for their parents. As our creators, such feelings are only natural.
