Haven't seen the film in question yet, but shit it might be worth a watch now.

That's from the same writer/producers of Buddah Saitan (The Rebirth of Buddah). I would be just wary of them as they seem to be an RHP cult.

I like a lot of anime, one of my favorites is a space type opera called Legend of the Galatic Heroes.
Other than that, gintama, tokyo revengers, xxxHolic, thar be a lot of good ones.
